Job Description

Just Talent Pte. Ltd. is recruiting a Field Service Engineer on behalf of our client, a provider of precision measurement instruments and industrial equipment. You'll install, calibrate, maintain and repair equipment at customer sites across Singapore. You'll also explain your findings to customers and advise them on how to operate and care for their equipment.

Key Rsponsibilities

Install, configure and test standard and specialised measurement instruments at customer sites.
Carry out preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults. Inspect, align, repair or replace components as needed.
Calibrate instruments and verify their performance against applicable customer and industry standards.
Explain service findings and recommended next steps to customers, and provide guidance on equipment operation and basic care.
Record service work, calibration results and parts replaced in digital service reports.
Follow company and customer-site safety procedures during all service visits.

Requirements

Diploma or degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related discipline.
Strong troubleshooting skills and practical mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Ability to work independently at customer sites and explain technical issues clearly.
Willingness to travel to customer sites across Singapore. A valid Class 3 driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred.
Flexibility to work overtime, weekends or public holidays when urgent service support is needed.
