Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Field Project Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing asset-related projects from initiation through to completion while ensuring their efficient utilization, maintenance, and compliance. Furthermore, this candidate will play a crucial role in improving our pre-sales process by providing expert project planning and feasibility assessments, directly contributing to winning new business. Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and coordinate the acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and disposal of assets, ensuring operational efficiency, data integrity, and compliance with field service standards.
  • Coordinate on-site installations, troubleshooting, and repairs while maintaining accurate records to support seamless operations and customer happiness.
  • Develop and implement asset management policies, procedures, and methodologies, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standard methodologies.
  • Conduct regular audits (internal and customer-facing) to verify compliance, identify process gaps, and recommend improvements for enhanced operational performance.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to manage asset procurement, maintenance, and technical support, optimizing efficiency and contributing to revenue growth.
  • Monitor asset performance metrics, proactively identify operational or technical issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.
  • Lead and handle asset-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within defined scope and budget.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with collaborators, applying structured project management methodologies to ensure alignment and success.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, work breakdown structures, and risk mitigation strategies, to effectively manage dependencies and resolve issues.
  • Update collaborators on project status and progress through regular communications, meetings (e.g., kick-offs, retrospectives), and detailed reports.

Requirements:

  • Outstanding skill in managing collaborator expectations and achieving project deliverables.
  • Proven experience in project management, with a focus on process improvement and asset management.
  • Strong leadership skills, capable of driving projects and exploring collaborative, beneficial solutions.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • A Diploma or a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in handling customers.
  • Possession of PMP certification is an advantage.
  • Strong management experience with leadership abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Able to work independently with limited supervision in a dynamic environment.
