Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Field Project Manager to oversee fieldwork operations for market research projects. The role requires strong project coordination skills, financial oversight, and the ability to manage fieldwork execution effectively to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Handling
- Lead and coordinate fieldwork execution for market research projects.
- Ensure timely and accurate implementation of project requirements across all fieldwork stages.
- Monitor project progress, anticipate challenges, and implement solutions swiftly.
2. Project Management
- Manage project financials, including FW budgets, resource allocation, and cost tracking.
- Oversee and motivate teams of interviewers, recruiters, and part-time field staff to meet project deliverables.
- Ensure fieldwork quality control processes are followed.
3. Process & Documentation
- Identify process gaps and support continuous improvement efforts
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, workflows, checklists, training materials, and field guidelines.
4. Cost Management
- Identify opportunities for expense optimization across project stages.
5. People Management
- Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to internal fieldwork teams.
- Participate in performance evaluation, resource planning, and capability development for the field operations team.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in Field Project Management (Market Research preferred)
- Diploma or Degree in any discipline
- Strong knowledge of quantitative and/ or qualitative research fieldwork
- Experience managing interviewers, part-timers, or operational teams.
- Strong project ownership and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make quick and effective decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Reasonable level of physical fitness for on-ground supervision
- Candidate should ideally be able to communicate in English and either (Mandarin/ Bahasa/ Tamil) in order to liaise with nonEnglish-speaking associates
