Key Responsibilities
Provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and diagnostics for BYD commercial electric vehicles.
Support service centres and customers in resolving complex technical issues efficiently.
Liaise with BYD HQ engineering and technical teams on product issues, root cause analysis, and solutions.
Work closely with LTA, Public Transport Operators (PTOs), and fleet customers to support operational and technical requirements.
Conduct vehicle inspections, fault analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
Assist in commissioning, testing, and handover of new vehicles.
Deliver technical training and guidance to service teams, dealers, and customers.
Monitor vehicle performance and provide feedback for product improvement.
Ensureaccurate and timelydocumentation of technical cases, service reports, and maintenance records.
Support warranty claims assessment and technical validation.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in automotive aftersales, field service, or technical support.
Experience with commercial vehicles, EV systems, or heavy vehicles is preferred.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical and diagnostic skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in English and Chinese is preferred to liaise with English and Chinese speaking stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel).
Hands-on, independent, and willing to travel for on-site support.
