Job Summary
Manage and expand a portfolio of banks and NBFI clients in Singapore and the RCEP region, driving new business opportunities and delivering expert financial and credit analysis to support lending and capital markets activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of banks and NBFI clients in Singapore and the RCEP region to increase business revenue and market presence
- Identify and capture new business opportunities by targeting NBFI clients and expanding client base
- Prepare detailed credit applications and conduct financial analysis to evaluate client creditworthiness and risk
- Perform risk evaluation and conduct annual account reviews to ensure portfolio quality and compliance
- Pitch and advise clients on cash management, trade finance, loans, treasury, and capital markets products in collaboration with internal and overseas teams to meet client needs
- Support loan syndication and bilateral lending by ensuring all covenants and terms are met for successful deal closure
- Contribute to process enhancements, system improvements, and operational projects to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Maintain strong client relationships by responding promptly to ongoing account enquiries and providing expert advice
- Support internal and regulatory reporting requirements by preparing accurate and timely reports
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, or related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of relevant financial institution sales and credit analysis experience with banks or NBFI
- Proven ability to build and leverage a strong client network and marketing capabilities in the NBFI sector, including Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Private Equity, and Family Offices
- Solid understanding of credit evaluation, loan accounting, capital markets products, and cross-border transactions such as QFII, CIBM, Bond Connect, and OTC
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively engage clients and internal teams
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Team player with demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and regions
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Basic Chinese reading and spoken skills to support communication with regional clients
- At least 3 years of experience in global markets sales to enhance product advisory capabilities
