Job Summary

Support vessel operations at PSA Container Terminal by securing containers, handling lashing gear, connecting power cables, and assisting with vessel services while following safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Secure and release containers on vessels by conning and de-conning twist locks at the wharfside to ensure safe cargo handling
• Handle twist locks and lashing gear safely and efficiently to maintain operational safety and equipment integrity
• Connect and disconnect power cables for refrigerated containers to support vessel refrigeration needs
• Assist vessels with water supply during arrival and departure to facilitate vessel operations
• Perform physically demanding outdoor work to support terminal activities under various weather conditions
• Follow all safety procedures and comply with safety rules and regulations at PSA Container Terminal to ensure a safe work environment
• Adhere strictly to standard operating procedures (SOP) to maintain operational consistency and safety
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support terminal operations and team needs

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum English pass in PSLE to communicate effectively in the work environment

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• No prior experience required training will be provided to equip candidates with necessary skills
