Job Description

Build Your Practice. Own Your Career. Design Your Life.

What if your next career move wasn't just another job

At Unicorn, we believe that experienced professionals should have the opportunity to build more than a career — they can build a professional practice that belongs to them.

As a Family Wealth Associate, you will work with individuals, business owners and families to help them make better decisions about their wealth, investments, protection and long-term legacy.

You won't simply be executing a job description.

You will be developing expertise, building trusted relationships, creating value for families and, over time, building your own professional practice.

This is an unconventional career path for individuals who want greater ownership of their income, relationships, reputation, time and future.

───

What You Will Do

You will serve as a long-term strategic partner to individuals and families, helping them navigate the financial decisions that matter throughout their lives and across generations.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement personalised Family Wealth Blueprints for clients
  • Advise on investments, risk management, wealth preservation, property strategies, legacy and succession planning
  • Analyse financial information, identify opportunities and blind spots, and provide holistic, actionable recommendations
  • Build deep, trusted relationships with clients and their families over the long term
  • Work with internal and external specialists to develop integrated solutions for complex family and wealth needs
  • Educate and empower clients to make informed financial decisions with clarity and confidence
  • Continuously develop your knowledge, professional capabilities and advisory skills
  • Build and grow your own professional practice through relationships, referrals and long-term client stewardship

───

This Is Not For Everyone

Building your own practice requires discipline, resilience, continuous learning and the willingness to take responsibility for your own results.

It is also not a shortcut to wealth.

But for the right person, it offers something fundamentally different from a conventional corporate career:

The opportunity to build something that is yours.

Your income is not permanently confined to a corporate salary band.

Your relationships are not simply relationships belonging to an employer.

Your professional reputation is built under your own name.

And your career can increasingly be designed around the life you want to live.

───

Who We Are Looking For

1. Professionals Who Want Career Ownership

You may already have a successful career.

You may have the title, salary and corporate experience.

But perhaps you have started asking yourself:

What am I actually building for myself

You want more than another promotion.

You want to build something you own.

───

2. Professionals Who Want Financial Independence

You understand that financial independence isn't simply about earning more.

It is about knowing how to create, manage, grow and preserve wealth.

You want to develop that expertise not only for yourself, but also to help other families make better financial decisions.

───

3. Individuals Who Want to Design Their Career, Not Simply Follow One

You don't necessarily reject the corporate world.

You simply recognise that there is another way.

You want greater autonomy over how you spend your time, who you work with, what you build and where your career ultimately takes you.

You are prepared to step outside your comfort zone to create that future.

───

4. Professionals Who Want to Create Their Own Prestige

A prestigious company can give you a prestigious title.

But when you leave the building, what belongs to you

We are looking for people who want to build credibility under their own name.

People who believe that prestige should come from:

the value you create,

the people you help,

the trust you earn,

and the legacy you build.

Not simply the logo on your name card.

───

What We Value

Integrity over transactions.

  • We believe trust is earned over years, not created through a sales pitch.

Stewardship over sales.

  • Our role is to protect and grow the interests of the families we serve.

Humility over ego.

  • We expect our people to remain curious, teachable and committed to continuous growth.

Genuine care over corporate targets.

  • We believe that when you genuinely care about people and create meaningful value, commercial success becomes a consequence of that value.

Long-term relationships over short-term transactions.

  • We aspire to become trusted partners to families across generations.

───

What You Bring

  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Minimum A-Level or Diploma
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Attention to detail and professional discipline
  • Genuine compassion and desire to improve people's lives
  • Strong integrity and personal responsibility
  • Humility and willingness to learn
  • The courage to step outside your comfort zone

Prior financial-services experience is not the only measure of suitability.

We are interested in the person you are, the capabilities you have built and the potential you are prepared to develop.

───

Why Unicorn

At Unicorn, you are not joining simply to occupy a position.

You are joining a culture built around people, stewardship and long-term partnership.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop deep expertise in family wealth and strategies in asset allocation
  • Work alongside experienced professionals and specialists
  • Build long-term relationships with individuals, business owners and families
  • Develop your own professional practice
  • Create a career with greater ownership and autonomy
  • Grow personally and professionally alongside the people you serve
  • Build a reputation and legacy under your own name

───

The Unicorn Career Path

We don't see your journey as:

Associate → Manager → Director → Retirement

We see it as:

Professional → Family Wealth Associate → Practice Builder → Partner → Legacy

Your career doesn't have to end with a bigger title.

It can evolve into something you own.

───

The Question

Perhaps the question isn't:

Should I change my job

Perhaps the better question is:

What kind of career do I want to build for the next chapter of my life

If your answer involves greater ownership, purpose, autonomy and the opportunity to build something of your own, we would like to meet you.

Build your practice. Own your career. Design your life.

Are you ready to build a Freehold Life

Apply to become a Family Wealth Associate at Unicorn.
