Job Description

Role Summary
The Factory Order Management Operation Planner is responsible for bridging the gap between customer demand and manufacturing execution. You will manage the end-to-end order lifecycle by coordinating with contract manufacturers (CMs)and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Order & Production Management: Manage and track the end-to-end order lifecycle, from initial placement to shipment fulfillment. Collaborate with the Factory Order Management team and contract manufacturers to align on Schedule Ship date and production schedules with demand forecasts.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between Sales, Sales Admin, and the factory to resolve order-related inquiries, change requests, and delivery commitments.
  • CM Collaboration: Work directly with Contract Manufacturers to monitor production progress, manage plant load, and address bottlenecks.
  • Material & Logistics Planning: Coordinate with Supply Chain and Logistics teams to ensure material availability and resolve shortages. Execute material prioritization strategies based on customer urgency and supply constraints.
  • Process Optimization: Develop and maintain advanced Excel tools and VBA macros to automate data reporting, track KPIs, and streamline planning workflows.
  • Continuous Process Improvement:

o Constantly identify, suggest, and implement process enhancements to improve planning efficiency and delivery accuracy.

o Analyse current manufacturing and order workflows to eliminate bottlenecks and reduce cycle times.

o Drive the implementation of advanced planning tools or ERP/MRP logic enhancements to automate demand-supply balancing.

Requirements &Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Operations, Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Expertise:

  • Advanced Excel: Must be highly proficient in complex formulas (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables).
  • VBA/Macros: Ability to write and troubleshoot VBA code to automate repetitive tasks and manage massive datasets.
  • ERP Knowledge: Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP or Oracle) is highly preferred.
  • Industry Experience: Solid understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and the dynamics of working with Contract Manufacturers.
