Our client is a global technology manufacturer specialising in precision equipment and industrial systems that support advanced manufacturing sectors. With a growing presence in Asia, the company is establishing a new facility in Vietnam to strengthen its production, servicing, and engineering capabilities.
We are seeking an experienced Factory Manager to lead the setup and operations of this new manufacturing facility. This is a pivotal role where you will be responsible for building the factory from ground up, establishing efficient production processes, and driving operational excellence across all functions.
About The Job
- Lead the end-to-end setup of an 8,200sqm, multi floor factory. Overseeing layout planning, infrastructure development, equipment procurement, and commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage manufacturing operations to ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery.
- Monitor and improve KPIs including OEE downtime, and cycle times.
- Enforce quality systems aligned with ISO/industry standards, drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
- Manage, train and develop supervisors, technicians and factory workers.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of CNC and automation equipment. Ensuring calibration, downtime tracking, and spare part management.
- Partner with procurement and warehouse teams for material availability. Manage inventory levels and coordinate logistics for inbound and outbound flow.
Skills And Experience Required
- Bachelor&aposs degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred.
- min. 5 years&apos experience in manufacturing operations, with 3. years of leadership role.
