Facility Technician

Brief Summary

We are seeking a proactive Facility Technician to ensure the operational efficiency and safety of the factory environment. This role involves maintaining infrastructure and coordinating maintenance activities with contractors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining the physical infrastructure, utilities, and facilities. Manage and supervise licensed contractors for renovation and maintenance activities. Respond promptly to maintenance requests to ensure functionality of all facilities. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on air conditioning, lighting, and other systems. Oversee the maintenance of safety and security systems, including burglar alarms, door access, and CCTV. Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations through regular maintenance of fire extinguishers. Coordinate and supervise contractors during renovation works. Liaise with the management office regarding building safety and environmental concerns. Prepare purchase orders and procurement requests for system administration. Assist with office space planning and draft floor plans.

Requirements

• Relevant technical education or certification in facility management or a related field. Minimum of 3 years experience in facility maintenance or a similar role. Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as safety and security protocols. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Excellent organizational and communication abilities. Capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively under pressure. Familiarity with administrative processes related to facility management is an advantage.
