Facility Technician

Responsibilities

To maintain/upgrade the plant mechanical equipmentalongside with team of production colleagues and technicians

. Supports, lead troubleshooting andrectification of plant equipment as assigned

. Carry out routine checks and testingof plant equipment based on job requests as per good maintenance practice

. Ensure safety and housekeeping are alwaysobserved

. Support production departments onContinuous Improvement, Preventive Maintenance to ensure high levels of lineefficiency and line performance

Skillsets/Qualifications Needed

. NITEC/HigherNITEC/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

.Strong technical knowledge and hands on skills in a manufacturing environment for Facilityrelated equipment like chiller, compressor, Air handling unit, boiler, etc.

o Able to perform metal fabrication andable to use mechanical tools like welding machine, drill press, etc.

o Able to read and understandmechanical drawings and able to understand drawing specifications.

o Strong knowledge in plant facilityequipment and good troubleshooting skills.

o Able to conduct training totechnicians and operators.

Must be willing to rotate on 12 hrs shift from 730 to 730#
