Facility Manager

Job Description:

1. Develop, prepare and executing Planned Maintenance schedules with a team of shipyard maintenance staff

2. Check and verify maintenance team daily work done.

3. Lead a team of maintenance staff to upkeep and maintain equipment, machineries, prime movers, cranes (overhead, crawler & gantry etc)

4. Custodian of all maintenance records as per ISO standards

5. In charge and responsible for maintaining the workshops, office buildings, gravel docks, slipways, finger pier are up to health and safety operational requirement

6. Work closely with other departments and support the yard operations (eg, dock lightings, dock gates, welding machines etc)

7. Ensure facility development projects are carried out effectively and complete on schedule within budget

8. Prepare annual budget for tools and equipment

9. Planning, vetting and approving the subcontractors equipment/tools to be used in shipyard

10. Manage subcontractors work in relations to facility upgrades and development works

11. Monitor Hazardous eg, B3 waste generated in the shipyard is handled and disposed in accordance to local laws and regulation

12. Consolidate and make recommendation to Management for purchasing / disposal of assets, (eg, scrap)

13. Coordinate, keep track and verification of rental equipment in support of yard operations.

14. Prepare and present facility/infrastructure maintenance report to Management every monthly.

15. Designated person in charge (notification and rectification) for all facility defects/recommendation reported by shipyard workers

16. A member of shipyard environment upgrade team

Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree or Diploma in Marine Engineering or Civil Engineering with strong technical background

2. Min 5-7 years as shipyard facility / plant facility manager

3. Microsoft Projects, MS Office, ISO standards

4. Able to communicate in Bahasa will be an advantage.

5. Able to work in Indonesia, Batam full time.
