The Facility Management Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance, operations, and quality control of the family office's properties and facilities. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong technical knowledge, cost control skills, and the ability to coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure smooth operations, safety, and upkeep of all assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all facility operations, maintenance, and repair activities across properties.
- Manage service providers, contractors, and vendors, including reviewing quotations, negotiating terms, and conducting cost analysis for comparison.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to ensure facilities are in optimal condition.
- Monitor quality standards for all works delivered, ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and technical requirements.
- Manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources.
- Prepare reports, maintain records of maintenance activities, and provide updates to the management.
- Handle procurement of equipment, tools, and services as needed.
- Support space planning, renovations, and ad-hoc improvement projects.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all facility-related matters.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience in facility or property management, preferably with exposure in Singapore and Malaysia.
- Strong technical knowledge of building systems (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing).
- Experience in cost control, planning, and vendor/contractor management.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, with a high level of responsibility and discretion.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
