Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Facilities Engineer to support the operation and maintenance of critical facility systems within our Singapore manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of utilities and infrastructure supporting fab operations, including cleanroom environments, process utilities, and building systems.

Key Responsibilities

. Operate and maintain critical facility systems, including utilities and infrastructure supporting fab operations such as cleanroom environments, process utilities and building systems.

. Monitor and maintain the following systems:

- Cleanroom HVAC systems

- Process Cooling Water (PCW)

- Ultra-Pure Water (UPW) systems

- Compressed Dry Air (CDA)

- Specialty Gas Distribution

- Vacuum Systems

- Electrical Power Distribution

. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure high equipment uptime.

. Work with vendors and contractors to ensure proper installation and commissioning of facility systems.

. Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for utility system failures.

. Monitor facility performance metrics such as energy consumption, system reliability and capacity utilisation.

. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards in coordination with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) teams.

. Maintain documentation including SOPs, maintenance records and system drawings.

. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve system efficiency and reliability.

Job Requirements

. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Facilities Engineering.

. 3 to 5 years of experience in semiconductor fab facilities or high-tech manufacturing utilities.

. Strong knowledge of facility systems such as HVAC, chilled water systems, cleanroom environmental control and electrical power distribution.

. Experience working in cleanroom manufacturing environments is preferred.

. Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and SCADA systems.

. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

. Experience working in semiconductor fabrication facilities or water treatment/manufacturing facilities.

. Knowledge of energy management and sustainability initiatives.

. Ability to work in a 24/7 manufacturing environment and provide shift support when required.
