Planning & Execution of breakdown and preventive maintenance activities assigned by Supervisor.
Conduct facilities equipment troubleshooting, root cause analysis and implement countermeasures. Plant's facilities equipment include but not limited to, electrical, air-conditioning system, WWTP, scrubber system, P&S system, clean room, fire protection system, etc.
Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules with contractors and vendors.
Identify and resolve maintenance issues, troubleshooting issues, troubleshooting malfunctions and implementing solutions to minimize disruptions.
Maintain adequate and orderly documentation as specified by the department procedure.
Prepare regular reports on facility operations, maintenance activities and issues encountered to Facilities Engineer.
Provide support for on-time renewal of all facilities equipment licenses and permits.
Monitoring contractor's performance and manging related administrative matters until work completion.
Work with cross functional departments to resolve safety, quality and productivity related issues and improvement.
Any other projects/tasks as assigned by the Supervisor, from time to time.
24/7 standby to attend and respond to any breakdown or emergency situations.
Job Requirement:
Higher NITEC or Diploma in Electrical and Electronics / Mechatronics.
Minimum 5 years relevant facilities experience in Manufacturing environment and in Building management.
Hands-on experience in PLC, Drives, Automation, Electrical Circuits, COBOT, Mechanical, Pneumatics and Hydraulic.
Hands on experience on Facility equipment ( Air compressor, Chiller, Aircon, cooling tower, transformers and switch gears).
Good interpersonal skills and able to work with all levels.
Team player and good problem-solving skills.
Able to communicate clearly at all levels.
Self-motivated and resilient
Basic Excel, Word, PowerPoint Office and SAP skills.
Willing to work on shifts, weekends, Public Holiday and after office hours when required.
