Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Operations Manager to oversee facilities and soft services operations across multiple client sites. This role is responsible for ensuring high service standards, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction across the assigned portfolio.

The successful candidate will lead operational teams, manage client relationships, optimise manpower and resources, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and profitability.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily facilities and soft services operations across multiple client/project sites.
  • Ensure service delivery is aligned with contractual requirements, company standards, and client expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Manage service delivery against contractual KPIs and SLAs.
  • Develop, review, and implement operational plans, SOPs, and workflow improvements.
  • Monitor site performance and drive corrective actions where required.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
  • Plan and optimise deployment of manpower, equipment, and operational resources across sites.
  • Manage work schedules and staffing plans to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and manage operational budgets and cost controls.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
  • Support tender preparation, costing, quotations, and contract negotiations.
  • Evaluate and recommend suitable equipment, technologies, and supplies for operations.
  • Monitor inventory levels, equipment usage, and consumables across project sites.
  • Lead, coach, and develop site teams and operational staff.
  • Drive workforce capability development and succession planning.
  • Lead management of major incidents, emergencies, and crisis situations.
  • Conduct incident reviews and investigations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
  • Assess operational and contractual risks and implement mitigation measures.
  • Support any other duties as assigned by management.

Pre-requisites:

  • Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in facilities management, environmental services, or cleaning operations.
  • Proven experience managing large teams across multiple sites.
  • Strong knowledge of soft services operations including cleaning, waste management, and hygiene services.
  • Familiarity with Singapore regulatory requirements including MOM, NEA, and Progressive Wage Model (PWM).
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen with budgeting and cost management experience.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-site operational environment.
