Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily facilities operations to ensure service delivery complies with contractual requirements, KPIs, and operational standards.
- Lead and supervise technical staff, supervisors, operators, and service personnel in supporting day-to-day facilities management, maintenance, and Smart Operations Centre activities.
- Supervise the maintenance and operation of building M&E systems, including electrical, ACMV, plumbing, fire protection systems, pumps, building management systems, and operational monitoring platforms.
- Monitor security and non-security alerts within the Smart Operations Centre and ensure timely response, escalation, and resolution by operations personnel.
- Evaluate operational incidents and coordinate with internal departments, contractors, service partners, and service providers for issue resolution and corrective actions.
- Plan, monitor, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance programmes to ensure reliability of building systems and minimise operational disruptions, including ad-hoc repairs, urgent rectification works, and improvement projects.
- Monitor contractor and vendor performance to ensure all works are completed in accordance with quality standards, safety regulations, contractual obligations, and service level requirements.
- Utilise monitoring systems and operational software to diagnose issues, analyse operational data, and generate reports for management review.
- Coordinate with agency representatives, stakeholders, and clients through site meetings, operational updates, incident reporting, and progress reviews.
- Verify work completion, review claims and invoices, and follow up on payment submissions and approvals.
- Maintain accurate operational documentation, including maintenance records, incident logs, inspection reports, service reports, and rectification tracking records.
- Ensure operational equipment, monitoring systems, and facilities infrastructure remain functional and serviceable at all times.
- Gather feedback from stakeholders and recommend operational improvements to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Building/Facilities Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in facilities management, operations, or building maintenance environment.
- Experience in managing large-scale facilities or integrated operations projects will be advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems, facilities operations, maintenance planning, and contractor management.
- Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
- Good communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
