Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, coordinate and monitor new and ongoing projects including ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, codes, and company policies
- Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution
- Oversee, maintain, and inspect all properties under Julia Gabriel Education
- Oversee various facility-related projects, including renovations, refurbishments, and office moves
- Negotiate, manage, and monitor contracts with third-party contractors and service providers for the start-up and upkeep of all Julia Gabriel Education properties
- Coordinate and oversee the maintenance and repairs of our centres physical structure, systems, and equipment
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and advise on measures to improve operational efficiency
- Monitor leases of all Julia Gabriel Education properties and ensure renewal of agreements occurs on a timely basis
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, correspondence, and files for all assigned projects
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with landlords, contractors and any other parties involved to ensure the smooth running of the business.
- Works with key stakeholders to ensure that our centres meet all relevant government regulations and health and safety legislation.
- Assist with any administrative requirements in developing the business for Julia Gabriel Education, both locally and overseas
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Diploma in Business, Project, Facilities or Property Management
- Equivalent work experience in property and/or project management will be considered
- 2 years of relevant work experience
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to comply with operational policies and procedures, building codes, and local regulations
- Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in managing properties for preschools or enrichment centres is an advantage.
This role involves regular travel to different centres throughout the work week.
