Facilities Maintenance Technician

Location: Jurong

Working Hours

Day Shift: 9:00am - 6:00pm

Working hours may be adjusted based on operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Maintenance & Servicing

Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and servicing of all warehouse equipment to ensure smooth operations, including but not limited to forklifts, lifts, conveyors, and racking systems.

• Troubleshooting & Repair

Diagnose equipment faults promptly and carry out necessary repairs or parts replacement to minimise downtime and ensure operational continuity.

• Safety & Facilities Inspection

Conduct regular safety inspections on warehouse facilities such as fire safety equipment, lighting, and ventilation systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and addressing potential hazards.

• Maintenance Records

Maintain accurate maintenance logs, including repair details, timelines, and replaced parts, to support effective asset management.

• Spare Parts & Tools Management

Manage spare parts, tools, and maintenance materials, ensuring sufficient stock levels and conducting regular inventory checks.

• Outsourced Maintenance Coordination

Liaise with external service providers when outsourced repairs are required, overseeing repair quality, safety, and timelines.

• Cost Control

Exercise cost awareness during maintenance activities to ensure efficient use of maintenance budgets.

• Process Improvement

Propose improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, maintenance processes, and overall efficiency.

• Compliance & Safety

Comply strictly with company policies and safety procedures to ensure safe execution of maintenance work.

• Ad-hoc Duties

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

1. Technical certificate, vocational qualification, or secondary school education and above in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or related disciplines.
2. At least 1 year of relevant experience in warehouse, facilities, or equipment maintenance is preferred.
3. Possession of a valid Singapore electrical licence/certification is an advantage.
4. Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
5. Proficient in using maintenance tools and instruments such as multimeters, hand tools, and welding equipment.
