Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for facility-related issues and coordinate necessary actions.
  • Source quotations and prepare purchase orders using SAP in accordance with procurement procedures.
  • Liaise with service providers, contractors and vendors for security, maintenance, cleaning and repair works to ensure quality service and compliance with standards.
  • Assist on workplace safety matters by supporting fire drills, safety checks and compliance with WSH (Workplace Safety and Health) regulations.
  • Promote ongoing safety awareness with the Department as well as inter-departmentally.
  • Assist to supervise service providers for works.
  • Track and schedule maintenance and servicing work for office infrastructure and equipment.
  • Support the management and upkeep of office assets, furniture, and equipment.
  • Assist in administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and documentation related to facilities operations
  • and maintenance records.
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in Facilities Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 35 years of experience in facilities management, preferably within the FMCG, food manufacturing or cold storage industry.
  • Prior experience in facility management and manage multiple properties is an advantage
  • Experience in coordinating with vendors, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
