Facilities Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Liaise with internal partners and vendors to coordinate Hookup works (including co-ordination of utilities point of use installation and tie-in utilities for new and/or relocated tools). Co-ordinate and documentation of Hookup testing and commissioning.
• Manage a team of in-house vendors to maintain and ensure smooth operations for the RODI system, including PM, inventory management, and documentation.
• Take ownership of the PCW plant and follow up with PM requirements, ensuring minimal downtime and operational impact. Drive improvement projects such as energy savings, reliability, and auto-changeover.
• Facilitate the installation and hook-up of a new plasma scrubber system. Create work instructions, system checklists, and other documentations for future operations and troubleshooting. Provide training for technicians to operate and maintain the new system.
• Assisting in the operation of Mechanical systems and equipment covering Chilled Water System, cleanroom ACMV system (covering Make-Up Air units, Dry Coils system (PACs), FFUs and HEPA/UPLA filtration), Exhaust system (covering General, Scrubber and Organic) and Process Vacuum system.
• Work closely and liaise with Facilities Operation Engineer/s on predictive maintenance program and upkeep of above-mentioned Facility systems. Sourcing, managing and follow up with various vendors for repair, preventive and corrective maintenance works.
• System improvement (addition and alteration works or modification), capacity and system assets tracking. Plan and prepare scope of work for RFQ on mechanical and water system projects. Supervise and manage the projects & ensure the work is properly executed according to requirements and schedule.
• Work with Facilities operation team on Inventory control of spare parts, tools, renewing license, test certificate of Mechanical Equipment.
• Support various external/internal audits by internal partners/customers to meet authority/customer requirement.
• Site verification and preparation of Permit to Work to ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper housekeeping.
• Reviewing and updating operating procedures and work instructions.
• Any other assigned activities/tasks as and when assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Degree Holder in Engineering (Prefer Chemical / Mechanical Engineering).
• Preferably from Semiconductor Manufacturing or Electronic manufacturing industry and experience in dealing with Mechanical System (ACMV/Exhaust system/Vacuum), RODI & Process Cooling Water Systems.
• Must be a team player with the right attitude and aptitude.
• Must be willing to work overtime when needs arise.
• Standby needed in the event of system issues
