About the role

Our client is a global leader in the medical device manufacturing industry, renowned for setting high standards in product quality and operational excellence. The company has a significant presence in the sector, wholly committed to the development and production of innovative, life-changing devices

They are looking to hire Facility Engineer to drive ensuring the reliability, safety, and compliance of their manufacturing site-specifically within a ISO-certified, temperature- and humidity-controlled cleanroom environment. The role will oversee facility systems, coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, and support engineering projects to maintain world-class operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot facility systems including HVAC, cleanroom air-handling units, compressed air, chilled water, DI water, and other building automation systems.
• Support day-to-day operationswithin ISO 7 cleanrooms (environmental monitoring, gowning facilities, particle control, airflow validation).
• Lead and coordinate preventivemaintenance programs with internal teams and external vendors.
• Respond to equipment and facility-related breakdowns or out-of-spec situations to ensure minimal downtime.
• Ensure compliance with prevalent to statutory regulations, including fire codes, safety standards, and environmental guidelines
• Support engineering projects such as facility de-commissioning, tech transfers or equipment modifications.
• Monitor energy usage and drive initiatives for sustainability and operational efficiency where possible.
• Assist in audits, documentation updates, change controls, and CAPA activities related to facilities and utilities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the medical device manufacturing industry.
• Proven track record in managing building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) and overseeing facility maintenance or improvement projects.
• Proficient in SAP and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to streamline processes would be highly advantageous
• Ability to work well with cross functional teams and stakeholders
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills, with experience in diverse, multicultural environments.
