About the Role
Join our team as a Fault Reporting Center (FRC) Engineer and take charge of troubleshooting, incident management, and system reliability in a critical healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide strong technical leadership in diagnosing system faults, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all unplanned incidents, faults, and emergency events.
- Coordinate and assign tasks, jobs, and Work Orders to Duty Technicians based on priority, skill level, and operational needs.
- Lead daily toolbox briefings and operational meetings to ensure team readiness, alignment, and compliance with procedures.
- Manage and control the issuance of access passes and Permits to Work (PTW) for contractors operating within the FRC-controlled areas.
- Review, analyze, and consolidate technical data, incident logs, and reports for submission to the FRC Manager and relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor the performance of critical building systems and initiate corrective measures in line with established SOPs.
- Ensure accurate documentation and daily updates of system checklists, Work Order progress, and equipment operating parameters.
- Maintain proper custody of tools and uphold high housekeeping standards within the FRC.
- Enforce compliance with all safety protocols and ensure works are executed safely at all times.
- Perform any other duties as assigned to support operational continuity.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a healthcare or critical facilities environment.
- Ability to work independently with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrates a strong safety mindset with proven adherence to WSH practices.
