The Process Lab Engineer owns & oversees the operation, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of the process lab within a cleanroom environment. This role ensures Facility equipment functionalities, adherence to cleanroom standards, and provides critical support for daily operations like Customer demo build, process development, SW/HW testing, and other Engineering activities
Key Responsibilities
- Cleanroom Operations & Management Enforce cleanroom 5S protocols, safety standards, and contamination control procedures Manage environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, particle levels).Ensure compliance with ISO cleanroom standards and internal quality requirements Ensure proper setup, calibration, and readiness of lab equipment for engineering support. Coordinate lab scheduling and usage across projects.
2. Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Facility, DI water equipment and process gas supply systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs with vendors when necessary and coordinate regular maintenance and yearly shutdown activities
- Maintain equipment logs, calibration records, and maintenance documentation.
- Support installation, qualification, and commissioning of new equipment
3. Facilities & Utilities Management
- Oversee cleanroom-related facilities such as DIW, CDA, vacuum, power supply, and process gas systems.
- Work closely with facilities and EHS teams to ensure safe and reliable operations.
- Monitor utility usage and support optimization initiatives.
- Support audits (internal/external) and maintain proper documentation
- Conduct cleanroom training for internal team, customer and vendors
- Involve WEHS audit and take part in EHS activities
