Facilities Engineer / Data Center / CDCP

Responsibilities:

• Data Centre Facility Engineer to ensure the 100% availability of our data centre's critical infrastructure.

• Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and emergency response of the critical infrastructure, including power and cooling systems

• Manage and monitor critical systems including UPS, backup generators, CRAC units, VESDA and Fire Suppression.

• Conduct daily routine inspection of data centre facility.

• Supervising data centre contractors during testing and maintenance.

• Adhering to Method of Procedure (MOP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOP).

• Monitor PUE and implement strategies to reduce energy usage.

• Support auditing by maintaining logs and documentation for ISO 27001:2022.

• Assist in data centre space planning to ensure data centre facility has enough power, cooling and racks for new deployment.

• Ensure data centre facility meet the agreed SLAs.

Requirements:

• ITE / Diploma in Electrical Engineering

• 2-5 years in mission-critical data centre environments

• CDCP is an advantage
