About the Role:
As a CBRE Facilities Associate, you'll oversee team activities that coordinate with clients, vendors, and contractors to make sure work orders are complete.
This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans.
What You'll Do:
- Point of contact for escalated communications between landlord, tenants, and service providers by ensuring all procedures, policies, and reporting formats are understood, and implemented.
- Manage office moves and reconfigurations for assigned buildings.
- Ensure the team is following customer requirements, internal policies and procedures, and external legal requirements.
- Provide oversight on highly complex project documentation preparation. Maintain a checklist of tasks and relocation databases and review for inconsistencies.
- Manage assets ordering - Add/Remove/Relocate
- Prepare & attend MAC meetings with client.
- Coordinate with vendors on securing proposals, and RFPs if needed.
- Support in monitoring financials related to project assigned to the team, including ensuring purchase orders are available before the implementation of project.
- Review invoices and pay applications related to projects or assigned teams and clients for accuracy.
- Resolve and troubleshoot escalated project commitments.
- Regularly work with external contractors.
- Supervision of work outside of office hours when required.
- Provide post-move on-site supervision with support teams.
- Suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the team.
What You'll Need:
- High School Diploma or GED with 3-4 years of job-related experience.
- A comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function is required.
- Ability to evaluate and communicates unusual and/or complex content in a concise and logical way.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
- Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate advanced figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
