Fabricator cum Welder

Job Purpose:

1) Crane Boom Repairs.

2) Repair/Fabrication of heavy and large mechanical products as per

drawing/specifications and in accordance with our production schedule.

Responsibilities:

. Cut, shape, and heat metal products to fabricate parts or sub-assemblies

. Weld metal objects using gas torch or arc welder.

. Perform simple maintenance on welding tools.

. Assemble parts and structures by lining up and joining them by welding,

bolting or riveting

. Support other workshop activities as required

. Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Company

Qualifications:

. Minimum GCE N Level or equivalent

. Welder Course Certification (BCA Approved)

Experience/ Proficiency:

. At least 2 years of relevant experience

. Minimum 6 months in Heavy Industries

. Knowledge of welding skill for different kind of materials

. Same Industry experience is preferred

. Experience in Shipyard / Oilfield Industry will be added advantage

Competency:

. Good safety awareness.

. Able to work independently as well in team
