Fabrication Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Supervisor to oversee daily fabrication and workshop operations. The candidate will be responsible for supervising fabrication workers and welders, ensuring production schedules are achieved safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily fabrication activities including cutting, welding, fitting, grinding, and assembly works.
• Ensure fabrication work is carried out according to engineering drawings and client specifications.
• Coordinate manpower allocation and monitor productivity of workers and subcontractors.
• Plan and monitor production schedules to meet project deadlines.
• Conduct quality inspections on fabricated components before delivery or installation.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety procedures.
• Liaise with project engineers, QA/QC inspectors, and production teams regarding fabrication progress.
• Monitor material usage and coordinate with store or purchasing departments for material requirements.
• Troubleshoot fabrication issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and workshop discipline.
• Prepare daily progress reports and manpower records.
