F&B Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support opening and closing tasks, ensuring setup meets departmental standards before operations begin
• Plan and oversee daily outlet operations in the absence of the Manager
• Supervise junior and temporary staff, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to departmental standards
• Handle reservations and cancellations, confirming bookings via phone or email daily
• Provide food and beverage service in accordance with department procedures
• Recommend and promote menu items and suggest alternative dining options when the outlet is full
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP) at all times
• Ensure sufficient supplies, materials, and equipment are available for smooth operations
• Handle guest feedback professionally, reporting issues or incidents to management
• Supervise assigned stations and support outlet operations when management is not present
• Assist other F&B outlets during peak periods or as required
• Maintain cleanliness of outlet and back-of-house areas to meet sanitation and hygiene standards
• Keep updated on food and beverage services, ingredients, preparation methods, and hotel features
• Follow the hotel's fire, life safety, and emergency procedures
• Follow proper purchasing and requisition procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
• Secondary/High School qualification; F&B certifications are an advantage
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong customer service and communication skills
