F&B Host

The Host/Hostess greets arriving guests, welcomes them into the establishment and escorts them to the dining room to seat them. He/She manages reservations and seating arrangements. He/She maintains menus and host stand. He/She monitors the open dining sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables. He/She estimates wait times for guests, monitoring the guest waiting list and ensuring that the needs of the guests are met while they are waiting. He/She answers the telephone,book reservations and move tables together to accommodate large parties. When required, he/she is expected to perform the basic tasks of a waiter e.g. bringing dishes to guests and help in clearing and setting of tables.
