Requirements
1. Must be willing to work on weekends and public holidays when operationally required
2. Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
3. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
4. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience (F&B industry preferred)
5. Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory control
6. Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial analysis)
7. Fluent in Mandarin and English to liaise with Chinese suppliers and customers
8. Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly responsible
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial & Cost Analysis
- Conduct detailed monthly P&L analysis for outlets and overall operations
- Perform food cost analysis, inventory variance checks, and wastage control
- Monitor gross profit margins and identify areas for cost optimization
- Analyze sales performance, product profitability, and operational efficiency
- Prepare accurate management reports with actionable insights
2. Accounting & Operational Control
- Review daily sales reconciliation and cash flow records
- Monitor stock movement, inventory turnover, and shrinkage
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of AP/AR transactions
- Support monthly closing and financial reporting
- Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
3. China Supplier & Customer Coordination
- Communicate directly with Chinese suppliers regarding pricing, invoices, payment terms, and cost negotiations
- Liaise with China-based customers on billing and settlement matters
- Review supplier documentation and ensure compliance with agreed financial terms
- Monitor cross-border transactions where applicable
4. Compliance & Support
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and company SOP
- Assist with audit preparation (internal and external)
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
