Manage an account of ship chandlers to achieve sales target and act as the main point of contact for relevant stakeholders.
Conduct market research to identify potential new clients in target regions and sectors for up-selling and cross-selling company's product portfolio.
Proactively follow up on new sales leads generated through marketing campaigns, trade shows, referrals, and other channels to convert into actual sales.
Work closely with the sales managers to prepare, issue, and follow up on accurate and timely quotations (RFQs).
Process customer orders, prepare Proforma Invoices (PIs), and generate sales orders in the company system.
Coordinate with the logistics, operations, and finance departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment and on-time delivery.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer records, sales activities, and opportunities in the CRM system.
Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the Department Head.
Prerequisites
3 years of experience in a sales support role. Fresh graduates are welcome.
Basic understanding or a strong interest in learning international trade procedures and documentation.
Diploma in International Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and helpful phone/email manner.
Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively with guidance.
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with a CRM system is a plus.
A proactive, problem-solving attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow.
