Role Overview
The Executive, Volunteer & Community Engagement supports the organisation's efforts in building a strong volunteer base and fostering meaningful partnerships with community stakeholders. This role will be responsible for volunteer management, community outreach, and partnership coordination to enhance service delivery and organisational impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Volunteer Management
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and deployment of volunteers
- Coordinate volunteer activities, schedules, and logistics
- Maintain and update volunteer database and records
- Assist in developing volunteer training and engagement initiatives
- Support volunteer appreciation and retention efforts
2. Community Engagement & Partnerships
- Assist in building and maintaining relationships with community partners (e.g. grassroots organisations, schools, corporates)
- Coordinate community outreach programmes and events
- Support corporate volunteering initiatives and collaborations
- Identify potential partnership opportunities and support engagement efforts
3. Programme & Event Coordination
- Plan and execute volunteer-led programmes and engagement activities
- Liaise with internal programme teams to support manpower needs
- Ensure smooth operations during events and outreach initiatives
4. Administrative & Operational Support
- Prepare reports, tracking sheets, and documentation
- Monitor participation and engagement data
- Support procurement and logistics for events and activities
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Community Development, Business, or related field
- 1-3 years of relevant experience (volunteer management, community engagement, events, or social services preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Passion for community work and social impact
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with volunteers or community groups
- Familiarity with CRM or database systems
- Event planning and coordination experience
