Executive Vice President

Job Description
Liaise with the Head Office and monitor the group companies management in the Asia-Pacific region as a shareholder (group companies refer to the life insurance and asset management areas).

Implement the organization's vision and mission in overall direction by working closely with various group companies heads in driving sales, distributions, financials, risk management, compliance, IT and HR by ensuring each department understands their role and function.

Maintain awareness of competitive landscape, development and standards, and opportunities for expansion by overseeing NLIC in expansion of new markets and prospective partners and perform due diligence when entering new life insurance and asset management markets

Lead and supervise research team members to ensure consistency and quality of survey design across the region

Formulate and implement Asia-Pacific strategic expansion plans of regional headquarters and oversee the company operations in accordance with the strategic plans in the absence of the President.

Job Requirements
At least a Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accountancy, law

At least 10 years experience in the life insurance industry

No less than 5 years experience at management level at a reputable life insurance company

Candidate must be proficient in both English and Japanese language, fluent in both spoken & written capability, to translate English documents and communicate with Japanese-speaking counterparts

Excellent proficiency in managing various internal and external stakeholders

Strong negotiation skills and business acumen

High level of integrity and professionalism, with strong attention to detail and project management skills
