RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will be responsible for the successful end-to-end delivery of events hosted within the venue, including conferences, corporate events, and client functions. This role focuses on upselling opportunities, operational planning, on-site execution, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring all events are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards in accordance with venue policies and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the full event lifecycle within the venue, from initial planning and coordination through to on-site execution and post-event wrap-up.
- Translate client and organiser requirements into operationally sound, venue-compliant event plans, while identifying opportunities to upsell venue services where appropriate.
- Develop and manage event timelines, operational schedules, and on-site deployment plans.
- Coordinate closely with internal venue teams (Operations, Facilities, Sales etc) to ensure aligned and timely event delivery.
- Liaise with Event organisers, contractors, and service providers, ensuring all works and services comply with venue rules, safety standards, and approved timelines.
- Act as the single point of contact for the venue throughout event planning, build-up, event days, and tear-down periods
- Ensure event compliance with venue policies, safety regulations, and relevant statutory requirements, implementing necessary controls and approvals as required.
- Proactively manage and resolve operational issues, conflicts, and on-site incidents, including escalation and crisis management where required.
- Maintain accurate event documentation and records, including operational notes, feedback where applicable.
QUALIFICATIONS- Minimum 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in a venue-based event, operations, or hospitality environment. Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong understanding of venue operations, on-site event execution, and safety considerations.
- Customer-oriented mindset, focused on delivering positive experiences while upholding venue standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to work effectively with multiple internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities across concurrent events and timelines
- Strong planning, organisational, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events concurrently.
- High level of attention to detail and sound operational judgment.
- Resourceful, proactive, and calm under pressure in a live event environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event requirements.
