Executive/Senior Executive, Sales, Marketing and Product Development
SPD is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales, Marketing & Product Development Executive to lead the growth and sustainability of the Artisan Collab product range. The incumbent will be responsible for driving product development, creating and expanding sales channels, and increasing sales revenue through strategic partnerships and collaborative opportunities.
The role will assume ownership of the sales performance and commercial development of Artisan Collab, working closely with internal stakeholders, corporate partners, vendors, and production teams to develop market-relevant merchandise and create sustainable revenue streams. Key focus areas include roadshows, consignment partnerships, corporate collaborations, e-commerce platforms, and other alternative sales channels.
Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Growth
- Develop and execute business development and sales strategies to grow Artisan Collab's revenue and brand presence.
- Identify, develop and establish new sales channels, including:
- Roadshows and pop-up events
- Consignment partnerships
- Corporate gifting opportunities
- Retail partnerships
- E-commerce and online marketplaces
- Community and lifestyle events
- Build, manage and strengthen relationships with corporate partners, retailers, vendors, and community stakeholders to generate recurring sales opportunities.
- Negotiate commercial arrangements and partnerships to achieve revenue and business development objectives.
- Monitor sales performance and recommend strategies to improve profitability and market penetration.
Product Development & Management
- Take a lead role in the development and expansion of Artisan Collab's product range.
- Work closely with production teams, corporate partners and customers to conceptualise and develop new product offerings.
- Identify market trends, customer preferences and emerging opportunities to ensure products remain relevant and commercially viable.
- Curate and maintain a sustainable portfolio of merchandise that aligns with market demand and organisational objectives.
- Evaluate product performance and recommend enhancements, refreshes or discontinuation where necessary.
Marketing & Brand Development
- Develop and implement marketing initiatives to increase awareness and sales of Artisan Collab products.
- Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to produce and refresh marketing collaterals across various platforms.
- Support digital marketing efforts, including social media and e-commerce platforms, to enhance customer engagement and sales conversion.
- Represent Artisan Collab at roadshows, networking events and promotional activities.
Sales Operations & Customer Management
- Oversee and coordinate sales enquiries, quotations, order fulfilment and customer service requirements.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Work closely with production, procurement and finance teams to ensure smooth fulfilment, invoicing and delivery of orders.
- Maintain accurate sales records, customer databases and sales forecasts.
Reporting & Administration
- Track sales performance, project outcomes and business development initiatives.
- Prepare periodic reports, presentations and updates for management.
- Support budgeting, sales forecasting and performance monitoring of the Artisan Collab business.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Business Studies, Marketing, Communications, Entrepreneurship, or related disciplines.
- Preferably 3–5 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, marketing, retail, partnership management, product management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in developing partnerships, sales channels, or new business opportunities.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify market opportunities and translate them into revenue-generating initiatives.
- Good understanding of product development, merchandising and customer engagement strategies
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Strong organisational and project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with e-commerce platforms and social media marketing tools would be advantageous.
- Self-motivated, resourceful and adaptable team player with a strong results-oriented mindset.
- Possess an interest and comfortable in working with persons with disabilities or special needs.
- Interest in and appreciation of the social service sector and social enterprise business models would be advantageous.
