Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage agency accounting AR/AP operations
- Execution of daily, monthly cash management actitivies and reporting
- Agent/Customer/Vendor management and monitor outstanding balances (regions/country offices)
- Preparation of periodic reports in assigned function
- Perform control self-assessments for agency accounting transactions
- Participate in systems enhancements and continuous process improvements
- Stakeholder management, attend to queries from regional/country and offshore offices
- Adhoc projects as assigned
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in AR, AP & GL background (Prior experience within the shipping industry is highly preferred).
- Must have hands-on experience with SAP and Microsoft Office suite.
- Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Looker, PowerBI, or Tableau.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- A proactive and meticulous individual with a can-do attitude.
