Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage the collection and analysis of large-scale datasets to drive strategic procurement decisions and optimize fleet management
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that translate complex operational data into actionable business intelligence
- Formulate and implement container procurement strategies focused on lifecycle optimization and long-term cost efficiency
- Drive the end-to-end procurement process by leading vendor negotiations and stakeholder coordination to ensure production schedules align with requirements
- Manage the technical execution of contract vetting, signing, and system data integration
- Optimise the lease portfolio through proactive expiration management, detailed contract analysis, and continuous process improvement
- Monitor financial and operational KPIs, ensuring adherence to budget, risk management protocols, and compliance standards
- Lead initiatives for continuous business process enhancement and the evolution of internal management systems
- Manage ad-hoc tasks and assignments as delegated by the Manager
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline
- Proficient in Google Workspace tools (Sheets/Docs/Slides) and MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint
- Practical experience in handling and analyzing large-scale datasets
- Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with multicultural teams and internal/external parties
- Highly organised, able to prioritize tasks, manage time and deadlines, and multi-task effectively
- Detail-oriented, able to identify and analyze problems, develop solutions and make sound decisions
- Open to continuously learn and apply new technologies and methodologies to enhance business processes
- Prior experience in liner shipping or container procurement is a plus
- Experience in data tools such as Tableau and Looker preferred
- Proficiency in SQL and/or programming languages like Python for data manipulation, analysis, and statistical modeling preferred
