Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct market analysis in the Time Charter and Sale & Purchase markets, including data gathering
- Manage incumbent fleets, overseeing Hire & Delivery and monitoring/controlling Redelivery processes
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g., GNP) for crucial fleet alignments such as Cascading and Dry Dock scheduling
- Support chartering activities, including both charter-in and charter-out operations
- Support Post fixture operation and develop relationships with shipowners & brokers
- Perform technical follow-up for chartered vessels
- Contribute to quality management for chartered vessels, focusing on vessel performance optimization, quality monitoring, and consulting/executing modifications in conjunction with FPC/MSQ
- Provide support for the new CHORUS module related to Chartering activities
- Handle essential administrative tasks, including arranging internal/external meetings, taking minutes, preparing materials for internal approvals, and conducting regular vendor verification checks
- Support in any ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- At least 1 year experience in shipping related field such as vessel operation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to optimize stakeholder management with owners and brokers and internal cross functional teams
- Strong Logistical and analytical thinking ability
- Demonstrates a professional business attitude, including timely reporting, effective timeline management, and collaboration with colleagues.
- Responsible and meticulous with a high degree of honesty and integrity
- Capable of working independently and efficiently managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Prior experience in procurement activities and chartering ships would be an advantage
