About Development Office (DVO)
The Development Office (DVO) is the University-wide office responsible for securing philanthropic contributions for the University. We are seeking a donor relations executive who has interest in learning about philanthropic work in a higher-education institution and developing into an independent donor relations professional.
About the Role
- Support and execute donor stewardship programmes that engage and steward key benefactors of the University to meet fundraising objectives.
- Build networks within the University and serve as the interface between DVO, other departments of NUS, and NUS faculty members on donor stewardship matters.
- Draft and review donor relations materials.
- Compile gift reports for donors.
- Undertake other duties as assigned.
About the Candidate
- An interest in philanthropy work.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Able to plan and manage events.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- A good team player while being able to operate independently.
- Experience in the service industry is an added advantage.
- A recognized university degree. University graduates with no experience or candidates who possess a diploma and has relevant experience will also be considered.
