Role Purpose:
The Executive / Senior Executive (Community Engagement) supports Support Filos in amplifying impact in the community through outreach and marketing communication efforts as well as executing strategies for volunteer management, stakeholder engagement and collaborations.
Key Responsibilities
Volunteer and Stakeholder Management
- Develop, coordinate and manage all aspects of the volunteer programmes at town level.
- Work with the team and volunteers to drive recruitment efforts, outreach events and initiatives to promote volunteerism and partnerships.
- Lead/Support volunteer and partner engagement efforts, including but not limited to curating and organising training workshops for volunteers, organising networking sessions for partners and coordinating volunteer and partner appreciation events.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify ground needs for volunteer and support.
- Maintain volunteer database to ensure accurate tracking of volunteer impact and outcomes.
Marketing Communications
- Plan and manage publicity efforts for volunteer recruitment and engagement initiatives andprogrammes.
- Coordinate, design and develop social media content to support Filos efforts in building brand awareness and engagement to achieve organisational goals.
Administrative and Operations
- Prepare reports on volunteer programmes for senior management, internal and external stakeholders on a timely basis.
- Support in administrative duties, such as secretariat work at sessions with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
Qualifications
Diploma/Degree Holder in Community Development, Social Sciences, Communications or related field would be an advantage.
Experience
- Executive: 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Senior Executive: 4-6 years of experience in volunteer management, community engagement or programme coordination.
- Meticulous, good time management skills and proficient in using MS Office and Canva.
- Able to multi-task and work well with a diverse group of individuals, including but not limited to volunteers, stakeholders from the public and private sectors and beneficiaries.
- Passionate about volunteerism and serving the community.
- Relevant experience in marketing communications and videography is not mandatory but would be an advantage.
