Executive / Senior Engineer (Transmission Pipelines Operations & Maintenance)

What You'll Do:

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of Gas Transmission Infrastructure
• Plan and implement maintenance schedule to ensure safe and reliable operation of the Gas Transmission Pipeline and its associated facilities
• Plan and implement patrolling programs for the Gas Transmission Pipeline
• Control and monitor third-parties earthwork activities in the vicinity of Gas Transmission Pipeline to prevent damages to the pipeline
• Plan, organize and execute commissioning / decommissioning of pipelines and facilities
• Review and ensure adherence to safe works practices
• Formulate, review and implement standard operating procedures, emergency response plans and other relevant procedures
• Ensure the adequate stocking of spares, and initiate purchase when required, for routine maintenance and emergencies
• Ensure that the tools and equipment are adequate and properly maintained to maintain operation readiness
• Supervise all Technical Officers and Technicians of the section
• Establish and review documentation and filing system
• Prepare specifications for procurement and initiate calling and evaluation of quotation/tenders
• Train and upgrade skill of the section to maintain competence in the operation and maintenance of the Gas Transmission Infrastructure
• Lead and participate in emergency drills and exercises to ensure preparedness
• Develop and manage the section's annual budget, ensuring expenditures remain within approved limits
• Monitor expenditures within approved budget
• Perform standby duties outside regular office hours as required

What You'll Need:

• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from university recognized by PE Board Singapore.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, resourceful and meticulous
• Highly motivated and pro-active with the ability to work both independently as well as in a team
