Mon to Fri : 8.30am to 5.30pm (Mon to Fri) & 8.30am to 12.30pm (Alt Sat)
1yr contract (Renewable/Convertible to Perm)
Responsibilities:
- Perform duties as the appointed Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) in compliance with MOM and corporate requirements
- Establish, implement and maintain Safety & Sustainability policies, risk management systems and procedures
- Ensure all company activities comply with local legislation and corporate safety standards
- Investigate accidents, near-misses and occupational diseases submit reports to authorities and management
- Conduct safety audits, inspections, training programs and participate in safety committee meetings
- Manage medical surveillance and industrial hygiene monitoring programs
- Implement contractor management system and visitor orientation programs
- Track waste and environmental emissions to ensure compliance
- Assist Fire Safety Manager and support building projects/facilities matters on an ad-hoc basis
- Prepare and submit safety performance reports to management and corporate levels
Requirements:
- Minimum obtained a Specialist Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health from Ministry of Manpower or equivalent,
- A registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with the Ministry of Manpower, Singapore
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Safety function in a manufacturing, repairs or service environment.
- Knowledge of Safety principles, hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control, and Environmental aspects and impacts
- Knowledge of WSH legal requirements and best practices
- Understanding of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 45001 requirements
- Knowledge in Emergency Preparedness and Response Programs
Knowledge in Accident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis Skill.
