Executive, Risk & Compliance

The Risk & Compliance Department of Dentons Rodyk & Davidson LLP carries out conflicts analysis (legal and commercial conflicts) and client due diligence (prevention of -money laundering, financing of terrorism and proliferation financing, and develops internal risk protocols. On a day-to-day basis, the Risk & Compliance Department reviews and clears requests for opening of new files (from a conflicts and client due diligence perspective). The Risk & Compliance Department also provides internal counsel and risk support to the various legal and non-legal departments of the firm.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Risk & Compliance, and the role will involve the following:

. Performing client due diligence screening and analysis

. Performing conflict searches

. Attending to queries and liaising with internal departments

. Assisting and providing support to the Head of Risk & Compliance generally

Requirements:

. Diploma graduate

. Entry Level Candidates are welcome to apply

. Good command of written and verbal English

. Must have high regard for protocols and processes

. Must be prepared to learn and understand conflicts, compliance and risk principles

. Good analytical and communication skills and be able to work independently

. Those with experience in legal or accounting practice or other professional roles preferred
