The Company

A well-established trading company is currently seeking a Senior Finance Executive to join its dynamic team.

The Role

The Senior Finance Executive will be responsible for managing trade and transaction activities, as well as performing regular reconciliations and analysis of physical and derivative trades. The role also involves working closely with trade finance teams on Letters of Credit and structured settlements, ensuring accuracy of bank charges. The incumbent will also oversee accounting and reporting functions, ensuring smooth end-to-end processing of income and expenditure, preparing monthly management reports (including P&L, Balance Sheet, and cash flow statements), and managing intercompany reconciliations.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate should be CPA/ACCA/CA qualified with a degree or diploma in Accounting or equivalent, and possess strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, audit practices, and relevant Singapore laws and regulations. They should have at least 5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, financial analysis, auditing, and taxation, with experience in the commodity trading or shipping industry.
