The incumbent drives the end-to-end execution of front-end technology initiatives, specifically focusing on the deployment and optimization of Checkout systems. Key areas of work includes but is not limited to gathering business requirements to re-engineer front-line workflows for maximum efficiency, overseeing and participating in rigorous User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and managing on-site implementation across various retail outlets. By bridging the gap between technical solutions and store operations, the position ensures seamless system adoption through stakeholder engagement and hands-on staff training. Furthermore, the role leverages data analytics to monitor project KPIs and ROI, ensuring all retail enhancements deliver measurable value to the organization.

Job Requirements

  • Drive and manage the smooth transition and deployment of front end system related projects.
  • Liaise with IT Project Managers to ensure all deliverables are on schedule and escalate critical failure points to management
  • Monitor stores feedback after rollout and identify key issues for targeted follow up actions/enhancements
  • Participate in key cross-functional projects and work with relevant stakeholders to develop problem statements and identify end-to-end solutions to address issues
  • Assess and lead the requirement gathering for new initiatives or enhancements with end users and communicate requests to system designers
  • Ensure all functionalities and end-to-end UAT are passed with proper documentation being maintained and end users are equipped with user guides and training to facilitate the rollout of new requirement before deployment to stores
  • Continuously look at existing workflows to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure smooth rollout and prompt resolution of issues in the live environment
  • Oversee daily operational support on all project-related matters for stores and ensure timely response and closure of production issues and feedback
  • Ensure training guides are regularly upgraded with relevant functionalities
  • Utilize data analytics to track project KPIs and ROI.
