Responsibilities & Duties:
- Carry out procurement functions including sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and vendor management.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, safety, and performance.
- Create and process purchase orders.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Contracts, Engineering, and Project teams) to ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
- Verify accuracy of supplier invoices, quantities, unit rates, and system data entries.
- Address and resolve disputes or delivery issues.
- Assist in verifying system data entries and maintaining the procurement database.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and contracts in an orderly manner.
- Support day-to-day tasks and assist in ensuring smooth team operations.
- Provide support to superiors to ensure procurement activities run smoothly and efficiently.
- Report team feedback, concerns, and suggestions.
- Ensure procurement processes are properly followed.
- Share best practices and assist with on-the-job learning.
- Generate monthly procurement reports.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement within the construction or infrastructure sector.
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end procurement
- Strong negotiation skills and vendor management experience.
- Well-versed in local procurement practices, contract terms, and statutory requirements.
- Meticulous, proactive, and able to work under tight deadlines
