Job Description

Brief Summary

Join a dynamic team to enhance well-being and engagement initiatives for seniors. This role offers opportunities for hands-on experience in programme coordination and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of programmes and activities aimed at seniors and caregivers. Develop programme logistics, including scheduling, resource procurement, and operational needs for seamless delivery. Engage with seniors, caregivers, volunteers, and community partners to encourage participation in programmes. Administer assessments and manage data collection and entry activities for client documentation. Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities, ensuring effective communication among internal and external parties. Conduct ground operations observations to identify areas for service improvement and enhance client experiences. Supervise and coordinate the activities of Community Care Associates and volunteers. Maintain accurate records for programmes, attendance, and stakeholder interactions, performing necessary administrative duties. Prepare reports for management, funding bodies, and audits, ensuring compliance with service models.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Healthcare, Gerontology, Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, Business, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the community care sector is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders. Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to adapt quickly to a dynamic environment and respond to operational changes. A proactive mindset and willingness to take on challenges in programme improvement initiatives. Availability for occasional evening or weekend commitments based on operational needs.
