EXCUTIVE PASTRY CHEF
Duties & Responsibilities
Create and execute seasonal desserts and baked items that complement the bistro menu
Prepare pastries, cakes, tarts, and plated desserts with strong visual appeal
Develop dessert specials and bar-friendly sweets to pair with beverages
Maintain consistency, quality, and creativity during both prep and service
Ensure proper food safety, hygiene, and workstation cleanliness
Monitor stock levels, place ingredient requests, and control food costs
Minimize waste through efficient preparation and portion control
Support service during peak hours and adapt to a fast-paced bistro environment
Collaborate with chefs and bar team to enhance the overall guest experience
Must have minimum 5 to 6 years working experience in same field
Proven experience as Pastry Chef, baker or relevant role
Great attention to detail and creativity
In depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques and nutrition
Working knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations (pastries that are gluten free, sugarless etc.)
Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking or relevant field
