Executive Officer (Group Safety Health)
Job Description
You will be part of the Group Safety & Health team, responsible for leading Group-level strategic safety development and implementing Group-wide safety activities.
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement workplace safety and health programmes
- Drive the adoption of Safety AI and CCTV analytics to enhance hazard detection, safety performance and risk management
- Present safety programmes and performance updates to management, with recommendations for improvement
- Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and monitoring activities, and recommend corrective actions for unsafe conditions
- Ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety & Health Act and related legislation and standards across SP and contractor worksites
- Support incident reporting, investigations, and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions
- Promote a proactive safety culture and ensure personnel follow safe work practices
- Monitor safety performance and recommend practical improvements
- Serve as secretary for safety committees
What You'll Need:
- Degree in Safety, Health & Environment or Engineering from a recognised university
- At least 3 years of relevant industrial/construction experience
- Good knowledge of local WSH legislation
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical and communication skills
- Good interpersonal, organisational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- WSHO registration with MOM preferred
- Experience in safety technologies and AI solutions, including computer vision, video analytics, VLM and smart PPE, would be an advantage
